Project Status Update: 22 July 2026
ROCKRCOIN has not been launched. It is in development. It is not a stablecoin. It is a digital utility asset, not an investment asset, and will only be issued against verified real human activity: live human experiences, in every genre and of every type. Collectively, that is what we call The Greatest Show on Earth. That is what we are building. That is what is in development.
The purpose of this website is to provide information and context to the open-source development team working on the project.
Today: 69,000 lines of application code written — the open-source ROCKR platform (231 components, 57 pluggable services, in English, French and Spanish) is in advanced development and moving toward its first pilot deployment. The ROCKRCOIN blockchain itself is fully designed — identity, consensus, issuance and privacy architecture — and deliberately not yet built: it will be built correct-by-construction, with development deliberately not funded by VC capital or token issuance but through public research-grant programmes in order to ensure independence, transparency and open availability, in keeping with its open-source ethos. Grant applications are in progress with UK and EU funding bodies. This page and the current whitepaper are the authoritative description of the project; any earlier document, cached page or archived copy that differs from what is published here is superseded.

The ROCKR Exchange App is an open source app with APIs to embed an interactive summary in any social network, that enables multiple ROCKR Live Experience reverse auctions and produces, manages and broadcasts all the relevant smart contracts, between all the parties to the auction from curation to completion, for authentication and acceptance into the ROCKRCOIN Blockchain.

ROCKRCOIN will never be owned or controlled by any person or institution. It is a decentralised, smart-contract blockchain — its hybrid PoA/PoS consensus is organic and eco-friendly, and new issuance is governed entirely by The ROCKRCOIN Protocol.
That issuance flows directly from real-world activity: the creation of new, de-risked LIVE experiences. That’s the market disruption — and that’s why ROCKRCOIN is a Digital UTILITY Asset.
Of course, belief matters. But ROCKRCOIN never asks belief to move first: real activity comes first, and belief follows the evidence.
